This blog is an extension of a program I developed and present called, "Safety Net: Protecting Yourself Online".

The focus of this blog is on technology, with an emphasis on security.  It is geared toward the non-techie to aid in the understanding of computer threats, security related concepts, and how they apply to everyday users. My goal is to forearm you with things that you can do to protect your digital existence.

This is not the car repair manual as much as it is the user manual.  You may not learn what's under the hood, but you will learn how to fasten your seatbelt, know what the warning lights mean, fill the tank, and check the tires.
